Selected Portfolio

Hello, I'm Robert Hammon, an audio engineer currently based in Mobile, AL. Below you will find some selections of my work over the past several years freelancing.

In 2020, I was approached by a local media production company to help produce a series of video podcasts showcasing local artists called "On the Porch." This is a snippet from one of the episodes featuring Brigham Cason as he performs his song "There She Goes."

This is another segment from the "On the Porch" series. This segment features local duo Phil and Foster performing their song "Shadow of the Hills."

I was approached to record a comedy podcast series in 2019 called "SMASHING the Podcast." After discovering that the hosts were old classmates, they invited me to join in on the banter, alongside producing the show. Here is a segment from one of the episodes where we discussed issues with a certain fast food chain's ability to serve ice cream.

In my senior year at the University of South Alabama, I volunteered to record the USA Jaguar Marching Band. After graduating, I pitched them the idea of continuing to record the band, and they liked it. This is a track from their 2017 "Redemption" field show featuring an arrangement of Sandi Patty's "Make His Praise Glorious."

Alexa Yanez pitched to me a song in which she had only written a verse and a chorus. We set out on a several weeks journey of crafting what would become her first single, "Taste." The song features a soulful vocal performance with a thick and gritty electronic flavor.

Finally, this is a production of a song that I wrote in 2017 called "The Elephant."  This track was produced entirely in my single room project studio.
